Marys Sacrifice

Mary and her father are feeling lonely after Annabel, Lydia and Jane are married. Asked to visit her aunt for the season, Mary refuses because she will not desert her father, but then he suddenly begins to entertain and she suspects that he may be thinking of marrying again. When Mary meets a gentleman she thinks she may be falling in love with, she cannot be sure that he is not part of a plot to trap her father into marriage. What should she do - take her own happiness or refuse him and stay at home with her father?
